1. Service Description

Careerstic is an AI-powered career platform that helps professionals optimize resumes, prepare for interviews, generate cover letters, and track job applications. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

We are operated by Careerstic (India). Our services are available to users worldwide, with a primary focus on the Indian job market.

2. User Accounts and Responsibilities

You must create an account to use Careerstic. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with others.

You agree not to use Careerstic for any unlawful purpose, to upload harmful content, or to attempt to circumvent our usage limits or security measures. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. Payment Terms

Paid plans (Pro at ₹499/month, Premium at ₹1,999/month) are billed monthly via Razorpay. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again.

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, contact us at support@careerstic.com within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.

4. Refund Policy

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your Settings page. We do not offer refunds for partial months — your subscription remains active and fully usable until the end of the current billing period.

Exception: if you contact us within 7 days of your first payment for a plan, we will issue a full refund with no questions asked. Email support@careerstic.com with your registered email address and we will process the refund within 5–7 business days.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Careerstic uses AI to generate resume suggestions, interview questions, cover letters, LinkedIn recommendations, salary guidance, and other career content. This content is generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.

You should always review AI-generated content before using it. Careerstic is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

6. Data Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. We do not sell, rent, or share your resume, interview answers, salary data, or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Careerstic service.

7. Intellectual Property

You own the content you upload to Careerstic, including your resume, interview responses, and any other personal data. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing AI-powered features.

The Careerstic platform, brand, and codebase are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Careerstic is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed job opportunities, inaccurate AI output, or service interruptions.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Careerstic shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time from your Settings page. Account deletion is permanent — once confirmed, all your data including resumes, interview sessions, cover letters, salary analyses, and application tracking data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

After deletion, your email address will be released and you will be able to create a new account. No data from your previous account will be recoverable.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Careerstic after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. For significant changes, we will notify you by email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of Careerstic shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
